I think for quite a few of the 'regular 100' or so of us who currently remotely convene at A School Called Home, the 'place' you and Anna have created has genuinely become a home, somewhere we are allowed to show up fully as ourselves. And as I write that, I'm struck by how the metaphors bleed gently into each other: 'gathered yet scattered', a 'home' that is also a 'journey'. Or the connection Scott Lawrance suggested to me a while back, thinking of Bayo's language of 'fugitivity': 'I reckon fugitives need a home.' Here's to creating more such pockets where it's possible to show up fully as ourselves, bringing our incompletenesses and contradictions, finding our voices.
