Is that really a thing, toxic squash syndrome? And here I was admiring the beautiful image of those winter squash, shelved. They look so benign and inviting. Too much of a good thing? I dunno.
Apparently so! Although I'm not 100% that it's really called Toxic Squash Syndrome. But I think it's just if you mix up the ornamental varieties with the ones that are meant for eating. The ones in the picture are all good to eat!
New listener here, I don’t really do podcasts so often but I find myself today at my annual car service (my now “classic” car, please keep running ok...) and with a few hours to sit and listen and I loved this conversation so will listen back through a few others. Last time I was in this seat, a year ago, I spent the day reading through Nicholas Wilkinson’s saola chasing adventures/misadventures in Vietnam!
I'm so glad you're back with another series! I love the funny stories, book reviews, and thought-provoking discussion topic. Looking forward to more episodes.
This is a gentle and thought-provoking conversation. I love that a doctor took your four suggestions and applied them to the field of medicine! Where might we find that?

Anyway, looking forward to round 5!
